Tried this recipe with our garden jalapenos and it came out nice, but I think I want to add garlic too.

I tried this with habaneros (sorry no jalapenos), but I figured it would still work and it did. They're in my fridge right now. Do you think I can make hot sauce from it?

Made these at the end of summer when jalapenos were plentiful and cheap. Added horseradish leaf and then wedged a couple of horseradish stalks across the mouth of the jar to hold the peppers under the brine. Now they are crispy and delicious! I'll have jalapenos for guacamole, chili and anything else I want to make right up to next year's harvest.

I am so excited to see this recipe. Boy do we need theses kinds of recopies for our digestive systems, a healthy gut is the key to good immunity and we know how important this is these days. I heard yesterday that if the gut isn't taken care of, you can get Croon's disease. Thank you so much, I love your recipes.

I like the brining approach and brine 22 or more pounds of sliced jalapeños in a 5 gallon plastic bucket. They are pickled perfectly in about 5 to 7 days!
